Take part in this retreat and ground yourself in a peaceful place while enjoying a weekend of camaraderie and enlightenment at the Land of Medicine Buddha in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Santa Cruz Mountains are the perfect place to connect to nature, clear your mind, get recharged and open yourself up to receive the gift of yoga.
The weekend includes yoga, both vinyasa and restorative styles, pranayama (breathing techniques), guided meditation, hiking. Enjoy comfortable sleeping arrangements, gorgeous nature and delicious vegetarian meals (included). In your free time, enjoy the sauna, pool, hiking trails and even the beach. Great opportunity to work on your journal as well. New Brighton and Seacliff State beaches are about 15 minutes away by car.
2 night stay
Single, double and triple occupancy. The rooms are quiet and have their own bathroom.
4 yoga sessions: Vinyasa, slow flow and yoga nidra styles. All levels and abilities welcome.
6 wholesome meals: Vegetarian and inspired by diverse global cuisines, using seasonal local produce and mostly organic ingredients. Be ready for a gratifying and delicious experience.
Both a Meditation talk and Meditation sessions.
Saturday evening program: Topic based on yoga philosophy and meditation.
Hiking: Hiking will be part of the program. More hiking can be done on your own.

- Massage services: You can get a massage onsite. Advance reservations are required. Contact Tatiana if you need assistance.
- Transportation to/from retreat location: You provide your own transportation. Carpooling is highly encouraged. Contact Tatiana if you need assistance.

Relaxation Time: Work on your journal, write a letter to a friend/relative or loved one, read a book or just relax in the lush gardens and pool. Optional, join Tatiana for a 3+ mile hike in the redwoods.

About the Retreat Leader
Land of Medicine Buddha (LMB)
5800 Prescott Road, Soquel, CA
Nested on an enchanted forested piece of property at the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, just a mile and a half from Soquel Village, the Land of Medicine Buddha provides space for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
Getting there: About 1.5 hours drive South from San Francisco. Airports you can use to get to the LMB are San Jose, San Francisco or Oakland.
Tatiana is a native Costa Rican and was voted 2019 Best Yoga Teacher and Best Personal Trainer by Alameda Magazine.
She was certified as an Ashtanga yoga teacher in 2001 in San Francisco by the late Larry Schultz from It’s Yoga.
Committed to her personal practice, she loves to teach yoga and share the multiple benefits the practice brings to people's lives. Tatiana has taught over 2,800 hours of yoga since getting certified. She has been studying different types of meditation for the past 10 years and practices her own daily meditation. A life enthusiast, she treasures spending time in nature.
